Medical Matters

The staff of this department, which consists of doctors and medical secretaries, manages the medical files of the patients from the first appointment until their return to Doha:

1. Choice of treatment centres according to the medical reports and support during appointment-making
2. Maintenance of files and contact with specialists and translators
3. Application for confirmation in case of disagreements regarding changes of the specialization
4. Medical advice for patients and reply to their questions
5. Control and release of prescriptions
6. Preparation of applications for extensions, treatments, additional treatment and temporary return
7. Contact with patients, by phone as well as through regular visits
8. Organization of appointments and correspondence with treatment centres
9. Administrative maintenance of the patients´ files, especially of the medical reports
10. Reply to requests of patients and their companions
11. Contact with hospitals and treating doctors and request of medical reports
12. Forward of the reports for translating or transmission to the patients or to competent authorities
